Who We Are

Unitarian Universalism, often abbreviated "UU," is a faith for those who aspire to be brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We’re diverse in faith, ethnicity, ability, history, and spirituality. However, we’re aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good. We have a track record of working for love, justice, and peace.

Our roots are radical; our history one of self-motivated spiritual people. To think for ourselves inspires us, and helps us recognize that life experience and context are the primary shapers of our beliefs.  Click here to learn more about the history of UU.

We need not think alike to love alike. We’re people of many beliefs and backgrounds: people with a religious background, people with none, people who believe in a God, goddess, or gods, people who don’t, and people who let the mystery be.
