Sunday, April 27:
10:00 AM - Adult Religious Education in the Sofa Room.
11:00 AM - Sunday service in the sanctuary featuring the reflection “Bruce, Viola, James, and Jimmie Lee: Damn the Kingdom’s Come” by Dr. Andrew Hudson, about famous UU and civil rights martyr James Reeb. Sara Hudson is celebrant.
12:00 PM - Coffee, snacks, and conversation in the Derrick Fellowship Hall.
12:30 PM - Board meeting in the Board Room.
1-3:30 PM - We The People March For Democracy at Indian Springs Park. Bring signs and a lawn chair and come join your fellow UUs to protest! More information is available on our private Facebook group.
Thursday, May 1:
12:00 PM - Meditation in the Sofa Room.
Sunday, May 4:
11:00 AM - Sunday service in the sanctuary featuring Jonathan Owens and his group Brother Jon and the Rainbow Hearts, who are exploring the theme of religious deconstruction through original music. Jonathan, a former Southern Baptist worship leader, has crafted an original set of songs that chronicle his personal journey - leaving the church he once knew, enduring the isolation that followed, and ultimately discovering new community and acceptance.
12:00 PM - Coffee, snacks, and conversation in the Derrick Fellowship Hall.
