Naseem Khozein has been playing violin for 23 years. She got a performance degree from the University of Texas in Austin where she participated in classical orchestra, jazz, Brazilian, Andean, and Iranian ensembles. Upon graduation she toured the world for 3 years with dancing performance string troupe, Barrage, in which she was a featured soloist. She has been a performer for many local functions including the Waco Symphony and Embrace the World performance, and for organizations such as Community Race Relations Coalition, Interfaith Conference, and Waco Cultural Arts Fest.

In her free time she coaches a WISD after-school string group, Velocity, in which she teaches middle and high school students to express themselves through music they would like to perform for others. Active in the Baha'i community, Naseem also performs with her uncle, violinist Farzad, at many Baha'i conferences and fundraisers in North America.

She has witnessed how the power of music has brought joy and hope to people of all ages and cultures around the world, and she continues to perform for this purpose.
