Meals on Wheels needs a driver
As you know, one of the many area charities UUFW supports is Meals on Wheels. We are proud that we support this with time and energy, our building space and many of our friends' and members' time.
We are again in need of help from our congregation. One of the couples who have delivered meals for many years, five days a week is having to give it up because of health issues.
Could you carve an hour out of your busy day to help the home bound receive a warm meal? We need a driver for Wednesdays at 10 a.m. You can come as early as 9:30 a.m. to pick up the meal. Many times area employers will let their employees take the time to volunteer for this.
So, if you have an hour or your employer will let you volunteer an hour a week, let us know.
