About UU Waco

Our UU Principles & Beliefs

We, the members of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Waco, covenant to affirm and promote:

Every person is important and valuable.

All people should be treated fairly.

Our church is a place where we accept one another and learn together.

Each person is free to search for what is true and right.

All people have the right to speak out and vote on things that matter to them.

We work for a peaceful, fair and free world.

We take care of the earth, the home we share with all living things.

The living tradition which we share draws from many sources:

The sense of wonder we all share

Women and men long ago and today

People whose lives remind us to be fair and understanding

Our common sense

The discoveries of science

Ancient traditions and rituals

Mission Statement:
'We are a haven for a diverse community that values inquiry over dogma and seeks spiritual and personal growth, fellowship, and a more just world.'

We welcome you to join us at UU Waco!
