April 16, 2019: Pastor Kris Cervantes performs in “Requiem by W.A. Mozart” with the Central Texas Choral Society at the Midway ISD Performing Arts Center, 7.30 pm.

March 21, 2019: Sunday Religious Education is on hiatus! Join us for coffee and conversation starting at 10 am. Religious Education for Kids and Adults is on hiatus until April 7, when we kick off our new Adult RE class, “White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Race,” based on the Robin DiAngelo book of the same name. Our kids will carry on with “Moral Tales and Fabulous Fables,” a come-as-you-are curriculum for a wide range of ages. All Children’s and Adult RE takes place at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings. We also have a nursery available for children 4 and under.

March 10, 2019: Attend a different kind of Sunday Service at UUWaco! Hear panelist discuss their various religious views/beliefs. The fun begins at 11 am!

March 9, 2019: The Greater Waco Interfaith Conference Presents: “We Are One: Hate and Intolerance in Our Community” 9 am. Kate Chance of the Southern Poverty Law Center, speaking at Temple Rodef Sholom, 1717 North New Road. Call 254.754.3703 for free tickets.  

February 22-24, 2019: Two of our members attended the SWUUW Conference in Hot Springs, Arkansas. They enjoyed the conference and brought back great information to share with the UU Women’s Group and the congregation. They especially enjoyed the Red Tent Room and the music.
